Role & responsibilities
Academic Excellence:
-_lntegrating curriculum design with strategy
– Ensure high academic standards are maintained across all arts disciplines.
– Develop and implement effective curriculum strategies that foster creativity, critical thinking, and artistic expression.
– Monitor student progress and implement interventions where necessary to support student learning outcomes.
Staff Management and Development:
– Provide leadership and guidance to faculty members, supporting their professional development and fostering a collaborative teaching environment.
– Conduct regular Classroom observations of art faculty staff and provide constructive feedback for improvement.
– Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and other professional development opportunities for art faculty to enhance teaching methodologies and subject knowledge.
Student Development and Welfare:
– Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment that nurtures the talents and creativity of all students.
– Implement strategies to support the holistic development of students, including their artistic skills, personal growth, and well-being.
Community Engagement and Partnerships:
– Develop and maintain relationships with local arts organizations, cultural institutions, and community stakeholders to enrich the school’s arts programs.
-collaborate with the communications team, software developers, project managers involved in the execution of a design project.
– Organize community events, exhibitions, and performances to showcase student talent and foster community involvement in the arts.
– Collaborate with parents, alumni, and other stakeholders to support the school’s mission and goals.
Operational Management
– Manage the day-to-day operations of the Art block, including budgeting, resource allocation, and facilities management.
– Ensure compliance with relevant education regulations and standards, as well as health and safety guidelines.
– Implement policies and procedures to promote efficiency, transparency, and accountability in school operations.
Strategic Planning and Growth:
– Develop long-term strategic plans for the school’s growth and development, aligned with its mission and vision.
– Identify opportunities for expansion, innovation, and improvement in arts education programs.
Monitor trends and developments in the field of arts education and adapt the school’s strategies accordingly.
Preferred candidate profile
Excellent communication skills, must possess strong technical skills with a good knowledge of networking and computers
