We are looking for a “Assistant Professor – College of Journalism & Mass Communication” at Bangalore. The incumbent should be an acknowledged leader in teaching Journalism & Mass Communication, good team builder, team player and team leader.

College of Journalism & Mass Communication (CJMC) aims to produce a vibrant group of young professionals, responsive to the growing intellectual needs of the society, the self and the industry. It also promotes ethical practices and universal human values, along with futuristic skills in new media.

The requirements are principally for the minors and digital media marketing.

1. For English / Psychology / Theatre minors

2. For Digital Media Marketing, apart from teaching, the person should also be able to take care of the promotional activities undertaken by CJMC such as organising events as well as taking care of the department’s various social media platforms.

Qualifications

• Masters / Ph.D degree in Journalism / Mass Communication with good academic record with evidence of Published work & Research guidance.
• The candidate must possess experience qualifications per the requirements of the UGC
