The Senior Director, Campaign Strategy and Program Management, serves in the Marketing & Communications Department and reports directly to the Chief Marketing & Communications Officer.Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities• Experience developing strategic marketing, digital marketing or communications plans that drive proven results. • Ability to navigate within a complex organization, gain alignment and provide strategic direction to meet the goals of the organization. • Exceptional leadership skills with ability to drive results through a diverse team utilizing positive motivation, mentoring and management expertise. • Excellent influencing skills, with the ability to identify, analyze and drive problems to resolution and handle complex issues simultaneously. • Outstanding customer service skills and the ability to serve in a consulting role to internal constituents, finding creative solutions that meet organizational goals. • Exceptional messaging, copywriting and storytelling skills related to marketing campaign development. • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relations at all levels including administration, staff, faculty, students and individuals from diverse backgrounds. • Comfortable operating successfully in ambiguous situations. • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with constituents both internal and external. • Understanding of technology, channels and tech trends related to marketing including web, social media, content strategy, digital, public relations and paid and organic search. • High degree of integrity, initiative and ability to drive results, sometimes with little direction.• Excellent time management, and organizational and problem-solving skills. • Experience leading or managing through major change initiatives. • Demonstrated commitment to the promotion of diversity. • Strong project management skills and ability to plan, budget, track and manage resources, and follow through with multiple simultaneous projects and assign deadlines to appropriate team members.Physical RequirementsNormal physical job functions performed within a standard office environment
Reasonable accommodations may be made to individuals with physical challenges to perform the essential duties and responsibilities.Minimum Knowledge and Experience• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Marketing, Communications or related field or equivalent related work experience• Ten (10) years of progressively responsible marketing work experience• Seven (7) years in managerial role that includes leading the development of marketing strategy and integrated marketing campaigns • Demonstrated ability to manage projects and motivate people across teams and departments to achieve goals • Demonstrated successful experience in strategic planning, resource allocation and personnel supervision • Current and valid Texas driver’s license requiredEssential Duties and Responsibilities• Oversee development and execution of integrated, measurable marketing plans to increase enrollment and brand awareness for Dallas College, its schools, campuses, student services and workforce development programs.• Partner and consult with internal constituents (Academic Success, Student Success, Workforce Development, campus and college leadership depending on assignment) to understand needs and create dynamic marketing and communications strategies that support their objectives.• Lead and coach a diverse team of professionals who will serve as the primary marketing partners for college, school and campus constituents.• Work collaboratively with functionally focused marketing teams to execute marketing plans across multiple channels (web, email, advertising, social, PR, etc.).• Monitor and evaluate results of communications programs, using specific metrics to track progress and insights for continuous improvement.• Build relationships across Dallas College to enhance the reputation of the institution and the Marketing department.The intent of this job description is to provide a representative summary of the major duties and responsibilities performed by incumbents of this job and shall not be construed as a declaration of the total of the specific duties and responsibilities of any particular position
