Primary responsibility:
- Mapping the curriculum across K12 grades and verifying if the same is in alignment
with the educational boards
- Creating a curriculum framework that is based on logical progression and focused on
competency-based learning outcomes
- Designing the Year Plans for an ideal curriculum flow (grade wise/board wise) on the
basis of the framework
- Creating and reviewing curriculum and content (for their subject) which will be
consumed by teachers and students using effective pedagogical strategies. The
content created should be error-free.
- Creating and reviewing objective and subjective assessments aligned with learning
outcomes.
- Creating exemplar plans that will be role models for curriculum development
managers.
- Research on latest methodologies, resources, approaches for enhancing the
effectiveness of teaching their respective subjects
- Review of reference books and e-content from different publications and suggest
future course of action
- Analyzing the curriculum feedback sent by the schools/ learning centers and
summating the same in form of actionable/recommendations
- Verification of Year Plans and Term Plans against Board specifications
- Any other actionable that demands subject expertise at all significant stages i.e.
curriculum planning, development, implementation, analysis and revision.
- Minimum errors and rectifications in the curriculum documents
- Timely completion of any other tasks assigned that demanded subject expertise at all
significant stages i.e. curriculum planning, development, implementation, analysis
and revision
Expected Competencies:
- Timely completion of the mapping of the curriculum and development framework
- Minimum errors and rectifications in the curriculum documents developed
- Quality of feedback given and report made on the effectiveness of the existing
curriculum
- Feasible and constructive recommendations given for enhancing the effectiveness of
the existing curriculum.
- Minimum errors and rectifications in the lesson plans)shared post finalization
- Appropriateness of the actionable suggested on the basis of the review of the
curriculum feedback received.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Effective interpersonal skills
- Effective time management skills
- High Proficiency in Ms. Excel skills. Advanced Excel Skills preferred.
