Job Description:
- Drive growth and cost reduction initiatives with Business and Operations stakeholders, to arrive at target revenue and costs
- Ensure process controls through right data representation and logic, and by aligning the relevant stakeholders
- Drive actions by analyzing, interpreting data, and making comparative analyses with both local and global competitors
- Guide analysis by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures as per the relevant Accounting and Risk standards
- Prepare weekly/monthly performance analysis & business dashboard with detailed variance analysis vs forecast/plan for the business and operations
- Support in designing systems to capture data at a granular level to aid better analysis
- Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting and decision support
- Drive strategic thought and partner management in driving towards right business decisions
- Evaluate new business proposals in terms of control standpoint and design processes that minimize leakages
- Review/ highlight risk/ opportunities with appropriate analysis for initiatives
- Create business scenarios & impact for various business options and suggest the most suitable
Pre-requisites:
- Education: Engineer/ MBA from a Tier 1 school
- Past experience in Finance or a business finance role; Experience in Digital, E-Commerce, and/ or Start-up is preferred although not mandatory
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and in-depth understanding of cost structures and P&L
- Process and detail-oriented
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong skills in MS Office, especially Excel and Word
