2-3 months contract with Enfield Council

Job Summary:

·To support the raising of standards and narrowing of identified achievement gaps through the implementation of appropriate curriculum approaches to learning and teaching with a focus on children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities.

·Undertake planning, preparation, reporting and follow up work as part of school-based consultancy to schools in Enfield, in line with schools’ and LA plans.

·Organise and provide training to upskill Enfield School staff in meeting a broad range of SEND

 

Key duties/responsibilities (Sample):

·Planning, preparation and delivery of

oSchool based advice and support

oSchool based training

oCentral CPD

oARP monitoring

oMonitoring and evaluation

·Audit of provision in key areas of responsibility focusing on standards and progress

·Quality of teaching and learning , including assessment

·Quality assure work of external providers as appropriate

·Advise headteachers and senior leaders on management and monitoring of learning in their schools

·Use data effectively to monitor the impact of support provided, new strategies, approaches to learning, etc

 

Essential Experience Required:

·Qualified Teacher Status – DfE

·Management experience in school or LA teams in SEN
