The Revenue Strategy & Operations team at Coursera partners with Global Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing teams to drive revenue, craft and execute sales strategy, and lead all internal processes and systems to drive productivity. As a Business Insights Associate, you will support the team by becoming the expert on our performance data cross functions and across the customer lifecycle. You will build and improve on our core analytical ecosystem including in-depth quantitative analysis of key performance metrics with a particular focus on providing timely insights, problem-solving analyses and performance dashboards. You will work very closely with senior team members in the Strategy & Ops team to quickly understand issues and implement solutions. You will be a self-starter, deeply analytical and detail-oriented, as well as capable of working in a structured manner to thrive in ambiguity.
Responsibilities:
Lead Quarterly Business Review and Monthly Metrics Reviews
Find and communicate actionable insights through quantitative analysis
Standardize and automate metrics tracking and reporting across regions
Run strategic analyses to help Enterprise leadership identify areas of growth
Become an expert on our internal data tools including Salesforce, Marketo and Looker
Measure progress against key sales, customers success and marketing goals
Basic Qualifications:
2+ years of experience working in analytics, data science, management consulting, or finance
Analytical thinker and structured problem solver
Experience researching and manipulating complex and large data sets
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field
Experience with SQL and/or data visualization tools
