The role of a CCNA, CCNP, and CCIE Security trainer is crucial in preparing individuals for Cisco’s certification exams and, more importantly, equipping them with practical skills to excel in the field of network security. Here are the roles and responsibilities associated with each level of Expertise.
Trainer Cisco Security, you will be responsible for delivering Classroom and Online Trainings to our Indian and International delegates.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Delivering In- house and Online CCNP Security CCIE
Security Trainings to Indian and International Students.
Prepare and develop training material based on requirements. Assess and evaluate performance of Trainees.
Interact with management teams in scheduling training activities. Design and develop classroom materials and presentations.
Skills Desired:
Sound knowledge of Cisco Security technologies and equipment like Cisco ASA Firewalls, IPS Systems, Web Security Appliance Iron Ports, ISE Servers, AAA, VPN technologies and other relevant Cisco Security technologies covered under CCNP Security CCIE Security blueprints. Should be a quick and continuous learner. Strong communication skills.
Excellent presentation skills. Should have ability to learn and re- deliver in short time span. Good people management skills
Ability to monitor, coach, and mentor, according to the needs of the trainee.
Ability to cope with stress and to remain calm in all situations;
Ability to remain patient, polite and provide results based on the given task. Excellent technical content creations skills.
Design and deliver engaging training programs focused on CCIE Security certification preparation.
Create and update training materials, including presentations, lab exercises, and hands-on demonstrations.
Teach complex networking and security concepts to learners of varying skill levels.
Provide hands-on lab sessions to ensure practical understanding and application of security principles.
Foster an interactive and collaborative learning environment that encourages active participation.
Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in networking and security technologies.
Adapt training content to address emerging cybersecurity trends and threats.
Mentor and guide learners through the certification journey, offering support and guidance.
Evaluate learners’ progress through assessments, quizzes, and practical exercises.
Collaborate with the curriculum development team to enhance training content.
Participate in continuous professional development to maintain expertise and certification.
Qualifications:
Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) Security certification is mandatory.
Proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing complex security solutions.
Strong command of Cisco networking concepts and security protocols.
Previous experience in training, mentoring, or teaching is highly desirable.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to explain technical concepts clearly and effectively.
Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
Up-to-date knowledge of current cybersecurity trends and threats.
Familiarity with various training methodologies and learning platforms.
Demonstrated passion for sharing knowledge and contributing to the growth of aspiring professionals.
