Position Summary & Scope:
Condé Nast is seeking an intellectually curious individual who is eager to dive into various digital advertising analytics and optimization challenges in our multi-brand advertising business.
The Analyst will primarily serve the Commercial team by providing Sales with necessary data to continue driving the business. This role is data driven specializing in category research mapping, deep dive analysis and management reporting of the same.
Areas of Responsibility (Key Result Areas):
A. Data Analysis:
- Assist in data cleaning and normalization to build out efficient and accessible datasets
- Analyze data and trends to help support overall yield and revenue strategy
- Yield & Revenue performance analysis (Category Specific): Monthly revenue and yield analysis to be done for Vogue, CNT, GQ & AD, comparing it with the previous year and against forecasts on key dashboards and Ad Sales databases. This provides an in-depth picture of the trends, shortfall, success, and challenges within each category hence helps develop a strategy for each category.
- Build comprehensive reporting for Sales Leads and Directors, and identify actionable insights to aid in increased revenue opportunities and provide analytical support.
- Competitor advertisers tracking process (Monthly): Understanding competitor’s client set for each category and developing a strategy for acquiring business from those clients.
B. Sales Proposals and Decks
- QRM Decks- Design an effective template, conduct necessary research and analysis for review of each category for the quarterly review or annual sales planning meeting
- Communicate with the sales coordinators – Ad sales proposals, Ad Placements and Delivery requests via Client Communication Decks
C. Revenue forecast and planning
- Forecast updated: Ensuring that forecast inputs are requested and updated daily from the team, working on Annual forecast and Tracking across Print. Digital, Events, Exhibitions & Social Media
- Tracking the net revenue targets month on month
D. Creation and Ownership of Management Trackers
- Effective creation of templates to represent data and collate information for management review in a timely manner. Will need to collaborate and work closely with cross-functional teams to collate the data in an accurate and fast paced manner. Attention to detail and a pleasant disposition is very important.
- Will be responsible for the trackers implementation and reporting to Senior Management and other relevant stakeholders

Education & Experience:
- BA/BS degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience with 4-6 years digital advertising, yield, or analytics experience
