Computer Teacher – TGT (CBSE School)

Role / Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Computer Science / Information Technology to middle school students (Classes V–X) as per the Central Board of Secondary Education curriculum.
• Plan and deliver engaging theory and practical lessons on computer fundamentals, MS Office, internet applications, coding/programming (Scratch/Python/HTML), cyber safety, and emerging technology basics.
• Conduct hands-on sessions in the computer lab and ensure effective use of digital learning tools / smart classroom resources.
• Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, projects, assignments, practical assessments, and exam papers as per school and CBSE guidelines.
• Develop students’ digital literacy, logical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills through project-based learning.
• Guide students for subject-related activities, exhibitions, coding competitions, and ICT-based presentations.
• Maintain classroom discipline, lab schedules, student records, assessment reports, and proper usage of computer lab equipment.
• Coordinate with teachers and the IT team to support school technology initiatives and e-learning practices.
• Participate in PTMs, school events, training programs, and academic planning.

Pre-requisites / Eligibility:

• Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in Computer Science / IT / BCA / MCA or equivalent.
• Prior teaching experience in a CBSE school in Computer Science / IT for middle school grades.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office, internet tools, coding/programming basics, AI / digital applications, and cyber safety.
• Good classroom management and student engagement skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Tech-savvy with ability to integrate digital tools into teaching.
