Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Computer Teacher role based at Sanjay Ghodawat International School in Kolhapur, intended for experienced candidates who can join immediately. The Computer Teacher will design and deliver engaging lessons in computer science and programming across relevant grades, aligned with IB, Cambridge, and CBSE curricula as applicable. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, teaching theory and practical sessions in computer labs, assessing student performance, and providing constructive feedback. The role involves integrating technology into teaching, supervising lab activities, and ensuring safe and effective use of digital tools and resources. The Computer Teacher will also contribute to curriculum enhancement, coordinate with other faculty members, support co-curricular technology clubs or competitions, and participate in parent interactions, staff meetings, and school events.
Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Computer Science with the ability to teach core concepts and emerging technologies.
• Proficiency in Programming (such as Python, Java, C++, or similar languages) and practical coding instruction.
• Excellent Teaching skills, including classroom management, student engagement, and differentiated instruction.
• Experience in Curriculum Development for computer science or ICT, ideally aligned with IB, Cambridge, or CBSE frameworks.
• Effective Communication skills for explaining complex concepts clearly and collaborating with students, families, and colleagues.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; a B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification is preferred.
• Prior experience teaching computer science or ICT at the school level, with a track record of results and student engagement.
• Comfort with educational technology platforms, digital assessment tools, and integrating ICT across subjects.
• Ability to work on-site in Kolhapur, maintain professional conduct, and contribute to the school’s holistic and values-based environment.
