Coforge Hiring For Ab initio Developer at Delhi, National Capital Territory of Delhi Full Time

The Opportunity

The AB-Initio Support Engineer will work within a team of highly skilled technical experts and will manage and support the Ab-Initio Infrastructure including the Ab-Initio cooperating system for CDC Streaming and Ab-Initio Batch. The role will provide a range of functions including, but not limited to:

• manage the underneath Infrastructure for Ab-Initio
• Implement operational controls for monitoring and alerting around the Ab-Initio graphs
• manage any enhancements and changes to CDC requirements and deploy in production environment
• on-board new projects with streaming and Batch requirements.
• Support the ab-initio service as part of a 24×7 support team as per on-call rota.
• Design and Develop new data streaming or data integration solutions
• Implement operational fixes in LIVE environment as required during major incidents

What we’re looking for

• The main responsibility is to configure/manage Ab-Initio Applications both Streaming and Batch including the co>operating system, application key server and control centre ensuring it is implemented with High Availability, high throughput, failover, recovery and meets best practises.
• The role holder will need to have a good exposure and understanding on KAFKA and ideally should have experience in streaming solutions using Ab-Initio and KAFKA.
• The role holder should ideally have experience with install, upgrades of Ab Initio Co-operating system
• The role holder will be working within tight timescales to install and build Ab-Initio environment to support projects and business requirements.
• The role holder will ensure environment in monitored and managed to support SLA.
• The role holder will provide production support to resolve incidents and problem resolution.
• The role holder will mentor more junior members of the team on Ab-Initio tools.

Technical :

• 5+ years’ experience with Ab Initio (Batch graphs, Continuous graphs, Plans) and Unix shell scrips
• Experience with Batch Scheduling tools such as Control-M
• Experience with Linux platforms, Unix Scripting
• Prioritize workload, provide timely and accurate resolutions.
• Perform in-depth research and identify sources of production issues.
• Effectively perform root cause analysis of issues and report the outcome to business community and Management.
• Experience in Support and Development roles will be preferred
