Role Description
This is a part-time remote role for a Coding Tutor. The Coding Tutor will be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans, delivering live online classes, and guiding students in developing coding skills, logical reasoning, and computational thinking. They will assess students’ progress, provide constructive feedback, and adapt teaching methods to meet the unique needs of each learner. The role also involves fostering a supportive and positive learning environment, motivating young learners to reach their full potential.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or similar coding languages
- Strong teaching, communication, and presentation skills
- Experience in curriculum development or lesson planning
- Passion for education and working with young learners
- Ability to manage time effectively in a remote teaching environment
- Experience with educational technology tools and platforms
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Education, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Prior experience in online teaching or tutoring is a plus
