Role Description This is a full-time, Remote Coding Teacher role . The Coding Teacher will deliver engaging, age-appropriate coding lessons in areas such as Scratch, basic web development, and introductory app development, following CleverTales’ curriculum and teaching standards. In this role, you will plan lessons, conduct live classes, guide learners through projects, provide feedback on assignments, and support learners with varying skill levels. You will create a positive, inclusive learning environment that encourages curiosity, participation, and problem-solving, while managing classroom activities and maintaining learner progress records. The position also involves collaborating with other educators to refine teaching materials, incorporating feedback from students and families, and staying updated on basic coding and digital education trends relevant to young learners.

Qualifications

• Strong background in Education and Teaching, ideally with experience working with children or young learners in a classroom or training setting.
• Proficiency in Lesson Planning and Training, including designing structured, interactive sessions and project-based activities.
• Excellent Communication skills, with the ability to explain coding concepts clearly and encourage participation in an inclusive, learner-centered environment.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of coding concepts (e.g., block-based coding, introductory web technologies) and enthusiasm for STEM education.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Education, STEM, or a related field, or equivalent practical teaching and coding experience.
• Ability to manage small groups effectively, provide constructive feedback, and adapt teaching style to different learning needs and paces.
• Comfort using digital tools and learning platforms; prior experience in online or blended learning environments is an advantage.
• Passion for working with children, patience, reliability, and a commitment to maintaining a safe, respectful, and motivating classroom atmosphere.
