Job Overview:
Analyse and review digital analytics, plan website and social media content strategy, develop
blog strategy, source blogs, event coverage, and conduct PR and media outreach.
Responsibilities
● Understand the vision, audience, and message of CMR University, and implement a
content strategy that furthers these goals.
● Build relationships and manage meetings with key stakeholders to collect information for
all forms of marketing collateral.
● Review digital analytics and perform competitor analysis in order to develop a well-
outlined website and social media content strategy, to improve brand recognition and
followers across web / social platforms.
● Develop and implement the editorial content calendar for the CMR University blog and
social media channels.
● Plan digital content creation including articles, blogs, podcasts and videos for the CMR
University website and newsletters (based on student / faculty research, activities and
events across CMR University).
● Source articles for the blog, PR / media coverage, write/rewrite as required.
● Set up and conduct interviews with CMRU stakeholders including faculty, students, and
staff, around research, activities and events, to create content on their behalf.
● Be involved with other aspects of the editorial process such as overseeing the
production of faculty video interviews for the website, copy editing, fact-finding, and
research.
● Edit content across all digital and print media marketing distribution channels.
● Ensure SEO optimization for digital channels such as the website and blog.
● Oversee the updates and management of the CMR University website.
● Oversee the updates and management of the CMR University blog.
● Oversee the updates and management of the CMR University social media channels.
● Oversee the creation of all print and digital marketing collateral ensuring brand playbook
compliance.
● Assist in social media marketing to further develop CMR University’s online presence via
social media channels such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube etc.
Requirements
● Proven 2-3 years relevant work experience
Minimum Qualification:
Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, English, Communication or related field and 5 years of
relevant work experience
OR Master’s Degree in Journalism, English, Communication or related field and 3 years
of relevant work experience
● Understanding of SEO preferred
● Excellent oral and written communication skills.
● Excellent critical thinking, interpersonal, communication, time-management,
organizational and problem solving skills.
● Exceptional attention to detail.
● Ability to work in a team or individually as and when required.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: ₹30,000.00 – ₹35,000.00 per month
