Key roles and responsibilities
1. Knowledge of schedule making where multiple Schools, Programs, Courses, and trainers from many teams are involved.
2. Experience in coordinating training across a number of batches.
3. Worked with deadlines, to administer specific pre-placement training programs to multiple batches, as required by the Placement Department.
4. Managing real-time challenges of rescheduling and organizing remedial classes, to decide on the best course of action.
5. Connect with training organizations/freelance trainers to be able to get trainers on contract at short notice, and to balance workload during a critical situation.
6. Interacting with students to resolve their attendance, and eligibility issues and coordinating with the School leadership closely in real-time.
7. Work closely with the Director – DCCC in implementing the training agenda, ensuring that the School leadership, the coordinators, students, and all the stakeholders are on the same page with respect to the Program structures for various programs.
8. Ensuring all academic documentation is in compliance with University’s policies.
9. Coordinate with faculty to develop STE, Instruction plans, and learning resource materials.
10. Coordinate faculty meetings, workshops, and other events that support student learning and development.
11. Working with academic departments to develop course schedules (including workload allocation and balancing) and monitor student attendance in classes.
12. Performs administrative tasks associated with department activities (i.e. – maintains student files, counseling notes, and contact logs which document student mentoring sessions; provides data on students and program components to assist director with proposals and reports; prepares semester summaries, mentoring summaries, incident reports, student records, degree audits, instructional materials, workshop handouts, registration forms, drop/add forms, recommendation letters, training manuals, statistical analyses, purchase orders, and general correspondence; prepare materials for handbooks, collaterals, manuals, and reference materials; operates a computer and Internal & Confidential JD & Candidate Profile 1 I Page Department of Common Core Curriculum utilizes word processing, spreadsheet, database, AV tools, desktop publishing, e-mail, or other software programs).
13. Good communication and presentation skills.
14. Empathetic and persuasive, with good interpersonal skills.
