Role Description The Clinical Research Faculty role is a volunteer, on-site position based in Chennai. The faculty member will deliver interactive sessions on core clinical research topics, including clinical trial design, GCP guidelines, regulatory requirements, pharmacovigilance, and related domains, using real-world examples and case studies. Responsibilities include preparing and updating session plans, learning materials, assignments, and assessments aligned with industry expectations and program objectives. The role involves mentoring learners on concepts, resume building, interview preparation, and career pathways, while providing constructive feedback on their performance and progress. The faculty member will collaborate with the institute’s mentor team to continuously refine the curriculum and maintain high-quality, learner-centric training standards.

Qualifications

• Strong subject-matter expertise in Clinical Research, including clinical trial processes, GCP, ethics, regulatory frameworks, and basics of pharmacovigilance and clinical data management.
• Background in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Medicine, Nursing, or related field; advanced qualifications (e.g., M.Pharm, M.Sc, MD, PhD) are an advantage.
• Prior experience in clinical research operations, pharmacovigilance, clinical data management, medical writing, or regulatory affairs in industry or academia.
• Demonstrated teaching, training, or mentoring experience, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and engage diverse learner groups.
• Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills, including the ability to use case-based and practical teaching methods.
• Ability to design or refine training content, assessments, and learning activities aligned with current industry practices.
• Comfort with basic digital tools (presentations, LMS or online resources) to support structured and organized training delivery.
• Commitment to ethical, learner-centric practices, collaborative teamwork, and ongoing professional development in clinical research and related fields.
