“Direct Apply” is a new service offering by Cialfo, allowing students and schools to apply directly to universities. The success of launching and rolling out such a service offering would require a combination of efforts across all departments within Cialfo, namely the Customer Success, Growth (Sales and Marketing), and Product teams.

Job Description

The Senior Manager of Operations must strategically plan, build, and execute the new Direct Apply service offering. This includes developing a comprehensive action plan, working with other functional leaders and teams to coordinate on the launch and adoption of Direct Apply, developing processes and workflow to ensure efficient and effective logistical and operational support to Direct Apply, and all other business and financial related matters relating to Direct Apply.

As the Senior Manager of Operations you will be spearheading Direct Apply by Cialfo with our community of stakeholders; universities, high schools, students, and families, etc. You would be a leader and key driver to both develop and execute the business and operation plans of Direct Apply. You would work directly with the Co-Founders and functional leaders of the company to ensure the successful launch and adoption of Direct Apply in both current and new high school users globally.

You would be entrusted with the resources to build out this division within Cialfo. Your strategic and management experiences would be key to establishing the necessary personnel to deliver on the Direct Apply service offerings.

Responsibilities

Develop and Execute business and operation plans

Develop and manage processes and workflows to ensure efficient and effective logistical and operational support to Direct Apply

Build out logistical and operational support teams for Direct Apply

Build and manage workflows and processes of the Direct Apply operations department

Collaborate with other functional leaders (Customer Success, Growth (Sales and marketing), and Product team) to roll out Direct Apply to current and new users

Learn and understand comprehensively all the university opportunities and program types to be listed on Cialfo

Manage the applications management and programs management teams

Oversee and drive the launch and adoption of Direct Apply globally

Manage business and financial matters relating to the Direct Apply

Requirements

Flexibility with regards to working times given the global nature of the team and clients.

Travel (including internationally) may be required to meet partners or attend internal/external events.

A strong understanding of universities academic programs and admissions processes.

A passion for Cialfo’s core values and for being the forefront of a new and cutting edge Edtech solution for colleges and universities.

Experience working with university representatives in application and/or admission related matters

Experience in strategic planning and operations management.

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to collect, track, and analyse large amounts of data.

Adaptability and strong problem solving skills.

Excellent active listening skills.

Ability to build rapport and collaborate with others within the company and externally.

Understanding of partner behaviours and industry trends.

Extensive, accurate product knowledge.
