Applications are invited from the suitable candidates for a PhD position to work under my supervision at Chitkara University, Rajpura, Punjab. The details are given below.

– Candidate should be well versed with the fundamentals of electromagnetics and theory of antenna design.

– For this project, he/she will be working on electromagnetic field simulation solver tools like – CST Microwave Studio, HFSS, etc. for antenna designing and implementation.

-The antenna implementation for 5G cellular technology will feature concepts like beamforming, adaptive beamforming, use of AI in antenna design, etc. The candidate should be willing to explore these ideas and work on them.

Our group is working in the area of electronic design for a variety of applications. Our focus areas include, analog system design, RF circuit design, embedded system design, etc.
