The Cheenta Academy is an educational institution specializing in advanced mathematical science programs, Olympiad training, and research projects since 2010. We have a faculty team composed of ex-Olympians and advanced researchers from leading universities around the world. Our four broad programs – Math Olympiad, I.S.I. & C.M.I. Entrance, and College and Advanced Mathematics – cater to students of different age groups. All classes are delivered online, and our facilities are located in Kolkata.

This is a full-time on-site role for a Mathematics Teacher at Cheenta Academy. The Mathematics teacher will be responsible for creating lesson plans, teaching mathematics to students, conducting practice sessions for Olympiad training programs, and developing a mathematics education curriculum. The candidate will be required to work remotely for 24 hours a week (Holiday will be on a Weekday). The salary for this position is ranging from Rs.18000 – Rs.23000 based on the skill set.

Requirements

• Strong understanding and expertise in Mathematics
• Ability to create engaging lesson plans
• Qualified Teacher with a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field
• Experience in curriculum development and assessment of student progress
• Relevant skills and qualifications that would be beneficial include experience in teaching mathematics to gifted students, experience in preparing students for Olympiad competitions, experience in using advanced technology to deliver online classes and assessments, and willingness to learn and adapt to new teaching methodologies.
