Responsibilities of Head / Associate Director– Creative
• Creative Leadership: Lead and inspire the creative team, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and excellence. Develop and implement creative strategies that align with business goals.
• Working with the brand team to produce new ideas for company branding, promotional campaigns, and marketing communications.
• Directing brainstorming meetings and creative sessions.
• Shaping brand standards and creating procedures to ensure all products are brand appropriate.
• Supervising the department’s daily workflow, assigning project workloads, and monitoring deadlines and budgets.
• Brand Management: Maintain and enhance the brand voice and identity. Ensure all creative output adheres to brand guidelines and resonates with target audiences.
• Campaign Development: Conceptualize and execute creative campaigns that drive engagement and achieve marketing objectives. Collaborate with marketing, design, and other teams to ensure cohesive campaign execution.
• Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze the performance of creative content. Use data driven insights to refine and improve content strategies and campaigns.
• Client and Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with clients and internal stakeholders to understand their needs and objectives. Present creative concepts and gather feedback to refine and improve deliverables.
• Team Development: Mentor and develop team members, providing guidance and feedback to help them grow in their roles. Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
• Innovation and Trends: Stay updated with industry trends and best practices. Introduce new ideas and approaches to keep the brand’s content fresh and relevant.
Education & Skills:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing/ Communication /Arts/ Design /Fine Arts required (Master’s degree preferred)
• 10-15 5+ years’ experience in a marketing leadership role
• Proven success in managing creative teams
• Portfolio of previous work that displays an ability to turn an idea into a visual piece
• Strong communication and computer skills
• Experience with a variety of software, including Photoshop, In Design, Flash, etc.
• Adobe Creative Suite a plus
• Comprehensive knowledge of the marketing design process
• An intimate understanding of design, copy and web best practices/guidelines
• A solid understanding of design, copy, and web practices.
• Brilliant interpersonal and communication skills.
• Have in-depth knowledge of brand development and multichannel marketing models.
• Must be a creative and strategic thinker.
