Role Description The Center Head will oversee the day-to-day operations of the center, ensuring smooth academic and administrative functioning. This full-time, on-site role based in Jajpur includes supervising teaching and support staff, coordinating timetables, and monitoring classroom practices to uphold the school’s “learning by doing” philosophy. The Center Head will interact regularly with learners, families, and the community, addressing concerns, supporting learner well-being, and fostering a safe, inclusive environment. Responsibilities also include managing admissions and enrollments, maintaining compliance with school policies and local regulations, and overseeing budgets and resources. The Center Head will track academic performance and center outcomes, implement improvement plans, and collaborate with leadership on strategic initiatives and events. Qualifications
Strong leadership, people management, and team-building abilities to guide educators and support staff effectively.
Proven experience in school or center administration, including timetabling, resource management, and process oversight.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with learners, families, staff, and community stakeholders.
Ability to design, support, or supervise experiential and activity-based learning aligned with whole-child development.
Competence in basic data analysis and reporting to monitor academic outcomes, attendance, and operational metrics.
High degree of integrity, accountability, and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to make timely, learner-centered decisions.
Comfort with basic digital tools and school management systems for communication, record-keeping, and scheduling.
Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; a Master’s degree and prior experience as a coordinator or head of center/school are advantageous.
