I am looking for an sketch artist & illustrator who can assist me in creating attention grabbing educational video for a YouTube channel.

Candidate qualifications:

Artistic Skills and Creativity

• Ability to create clear, accurate, and engaging sketches with good grasp on human figures, anatomy and expressions
• Innovative in creating illustrations and diagram that make learning interesting and fun
• Precision in producing accurate and detailed drawings, especially for scientific and mathematical concepts.

Educational Understanding

• Basic understanding of math and science concepts taught in grades 6 to 10 to ensure accurate representation in illustrations
• Any experience in teaching math/science is a big plus.

Technical Proficiency

• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop

Communication and Collaboration 

• Good fluency in Hindi and English 
• Ability to work with scriptwriters to ensure illustrations align with the educational goals.
• Willingness to learn new techniques (like Gen AI) and stay updated with educational content trends.

The candidate should have a genuine interest in making learning accessible and enjoyable for students, and should be energetic and enthusiastic about creating content that helps students learn and succeed.

The day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Working closely with the scriptwriter to understand the requirements
2. Understanding the learning outcome and mathematical concept of the video clearly, and coming up with ideas to explain it in the best possible way
3. Imagining and drawing relatable characters to back up the story; the composition and blocking of the characters should be interesting enough to retain the attention of the viewer
4. Understanding stakeholder’s feedback and readily make changes
