Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and facilitate student orientation programs, ensuring a smooth transition into academic life.
• Advise and support students in navigating academic requirements, policies, and available resources.
• Organize and oversee student events, workshops, and extracurricular activities to enhance the overall student experience.
• Manage student records, including enrollment, attendance, and academic performance data.
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to address student concerns and provide timely solutions.
• Implement and enforce campus policies related to student conduct and welfare.
• Serve as a liaison between students and various campus services, fostering a positive and inclusive campus environment.
• Develop and maintain student engagement initiatives to promote a sense of community and belonging.
Requirements:
• Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Higher Education, Student Affairs, Counseling, or a related field.
• Previous experience in student affairs or a related role, demonstrating strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of academic policies, student development theories, and campus resources.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and sensitivity.
• Proficient in using student information systems and relevant software.
Skills:
• Student Support: Advising and supporting students in academic and personal matters.
• Event Coordination: Organizing and overseeing student events and extracurricular activities.
• Conflict Resolution: Addressing and resolving student concerns and conflicts.
Preferred:
• Master’s degree in Higher Education Administration or a related field.
