Job Description
- Counseling Students and giving them the much-required direction regarding their Career & College planning for undergraduate studies (India & International).
- Pitching and selling relevant products and tools to the students for achieving their milestones
- Analyzing the overall background of the student and providing the right choice of countries and course information.
- The role will involve utilizing various channels to reach out to students such as traveling to schools for face to face counseling, Online counseling (chat, email, and phone)
- Conduct group or individual counseling sessions to assist students with problems or concerns.
- Assess student’s attributes and help them realize their strengths
- Evaluate the progress of students and reinforce the sense of accomplishment
- Identify behavioral problems or at-risk students and act appropriately
- Cooperate with parents and teachers as well as other interested parties
- Complete assessments and tests, analyze results, and provide feedback
- Study and update student records
Desirable Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree Or a master’s degree. Bachelor’s degree learning paths may include psychology, counseling, social work, educational psychology, and sociology.
- A certificate in College Counseling or its equivalent is a plus.
- Excellent writing skills and public-speaking skills.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Collaborative working style, able to organize and sequence activities. Innovative, enthusiastic, energetic, and flexible.
- Engaging interpersonal skills and strong speaking presence
- Deep knowledge of colleges and universities, including their academic programs, admissions policies, financial policies, and other pertinent procedures is a plus.
- Familiarity with computer-based transcripts, schedules, and computer-based college search software.
