Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Cambridge English Facilitator role based in Chennai. The facilitator will conduct engaging Cambridge English classes, using prescribed curricula and resources to build learners’ reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning lessons, preparing learning materials, assessing learner progress, and providing constructive feedback. The role also involves maintaining accurate records, coordinating with academic coordinators and school staff, and participating in training sessions and academic reviews. The facilitator will support a positive classroom environment, encourage learner participation, and uphold Cambridge English standards and assessment practices.

Qualifications

• Strong command of English language skills, including grammar, vocabulary, and clear oral and written communication.
• Minimum three years experience teaching in International Curriculum in reputed schools.
• Experience teaching or facilitating English language programs, preferably aligned with Cambridge English or similar international frameworks.
• Ability to plan lessons, design learner-centered activities, and adapt teaching methods to different age groups and proficiency levels.
• Skill in monitoring learner progress, conducting assessments, and providing clear, actionable feedback.
• Comfort with classroom management, fostering an inclusive and respectful learning environment.
• Openness to continuous professional development, including attending trainings and implementing new teaching strategies.
• Master’s degree in English is Essential.
• Cambridge teaching certifications are an advantage.
• Ability to collaborate with colleagues, coordinate with school leadership, and communicate professionally with stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills, punctuality, and reliability in meeting academic schedules and reporting requirements.
