Key responsibilities :

Delivery of inductions, covering the BOT pipeline, tools & technical environment

Working with Comp HOD/ Comp Supervisors/ Leads to deliver core training programs

Support Comp team to deliver specialist training when required

Supporting crew with internal knowledge-share presentations

Delivery of BOTs entry-level training programs and other programs designed to fast track artists and production staff into current productions.Contributing to maintenance and development of training materials & documentation staged on the BOT Gyaan page

Authoring, staging, and vetting new titles and courses on the BOT studio wide Learning Management System (LMS)Supporting each team member of comp in identifying and evaluating training needs

Working globally with the training team to address training needs Required Skills: Expertise in Nuke, 2D, 3D, Particles toolsets

Exposure on GeoTracker and Maya would be additional

Experience working with DCC packages and plugins in a show environment and delivery of multiple shows and variety of comp tasks is mandatory

Experience developing training curricula for artists and support staff – user guides, video tutorials, and documentation templates

Team player with the ability to work closely with a global training team

Manage documentation and training projects while collaborating with a global team of subject matter experts and training crew

Report progress timely to the training stakeholders including Heads of Departments, Heads of Training, and global training crew. Desired Skills:Experience educating/training/mentoring in the VFX/Entertainment industry would be appreciated

Experience developing VFX training curricula

Scripting/coding experience/gizmo creation (python, tcl etc.) About you:Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills

Engaging and empathetic educator

Multi-tasker with the ability to support global training needs

Proactive with ability to anticipate upcoming training and documentation needs

Ability to build strong working relationships with subject matter experts in your area.
