Marketing Communications Manager, Youth Programs

II. Seeking a Marketing Communications Manager, Youth Programs
Bon Education is seeking a motivated and experienced Marketing Communications Manager to join our team. You should be able to create, author, manage and implement communications strategies to promote Bon Education and our client’s educational programs to sponsors, schools, parents and youth. This role will report directly to the CEO and Creative Director of Bon Education.
III. Location & Hours
This role is a full-time, remote position. Candidates should reside within a two-hour time zone of Dubai. Given our client base (governments, multinationals corporations and universities) and the projects you will be managing, you will need to keep relatively standard working hours.
IV. Responsibilities
Note: This is both a MarCom strategy and content production role.
- Manage MarCom for Bon Education
- Developing, executing and evolving results-driven communications strategies to bring more awareness to Bon Education’s programs, consulting and program design services.
- Authoring and editing company blogs, newsletters and emails to build brand awareness, lead generation and thought leadership in the GCC and neighboring territories.
- Managing the company website and social media channels.
- Tracking the ROI and effectiveness of various marketing campaigns and communication strategies.
- Creating company impact reports.
- Manage MarCom for Bon Education Clients
- Developing, executing and evolving results-driven communications strategies to bring more awareness to our client’s programs, CSR and education initiatives.
- Communicating with clients to understand their programs, marketing and communications requirements.
- Creating and managing all marketing materials and collateral in line with client program and brand requirements.
- Authoring client outreach emails, social media and WhatsApp posts in order to recruit and engage schools, teachers, parents and students to participate in client programs.
- Assessing the suitability of proposed content and comms for its intended audience.
- Coordinating with Bon and client design and translation teams to create program communications materials in English and Arabic.
- Tracking the ROI and the effectiveness of various marketing campaigns and communication strategies with the key goal of recruitment and retention of program participants.
- Creating client program impact reports.
- General Support:
- Supporting the Bon Education team across a variety of internal projects and initiatives.
- We are a small team. We need team members that have diverse skills, deep curiosity and a willingness to help out and work across job functions as needed.
V. How you will spend your time
- 25% strategy, planning and reporting
- 50% content production and campaign management
- 25% wild card (supporting across the team, reviewing student creative work, other)

VII. Relevant Education, Experience and Mindset
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in a marketing communications role.
- Interests: Demonstrated interest in youth development and education.
- Education: Should have completed a Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or a related field.
- Language: Speaks and writes English at a native-speaker level.
- Skills:
- Proven work experience as a MarCom manager, specialist or consultant
- Proficient in developing, executing and measuring demand-generation programs that keep prospects and customers engaged over time
- Complete knowledge of advertising and email marketing campaigns
- Familiarity with marketing and email marketing software like Active Campaign, Google Analytics, Buffer, Hootsuite and others
- Ability to lead projects and prioritize tasks
- Excellent written communication and presentation skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Solid time management and organizational skills
- Ability to handle stressful situations and deadlines
- A team player with the ability to work independently
- Highly motivated and creative individual
- Ability to offer excellent customer service
- Type A and detail-oriented when it comes to delivering work
- Basic design skills (Adobe Suite, Webflow, WordPress preferred)
