As an Education Counselor specializing in sales, your primary responsibility is to guide and
assist individuals in making informed decisions about their educational and career goals. This
role involves actively engaging with prospective students, understanding their needs, and
effectively communicating the benefits of educational programs offered by the company. The
goal is to drive enrollment through consultative sales approaches while providing excellent
customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Student Consultation:
● Conduct one-on-one consultations with prospective students to understand their
educational and career objectives.
● Provide personalized guidance on program options, admission requirements, and
the overall value proposition of the company.
Sales Presentations:
● Deliver compelling presentations to showcase the benefits and features of
educational programs.
● Address concerns and objections while emphasizing the advantages of enrolling
in the company.
Admissions Process Support:
● Assist prospective students in navigating the admissions process, including
application submission and document collection.
● Collaborate with admissions staff to ensure a seamless transition for students
from inquiry to enrollment.
Relationship Building:
● Build and maintain positive relationships with prospective students and their
families.
Sales Target Achievement:
● Work towards and achieve enrollment targets set by the company.
● Develop and implement strategies to maximize conversion rates.
Follow-Up and Persistence:
● Implement a systematic follow-up process to nurture leads and guide them
through the decision-making process.
● Demonstrate persistence in converting inquiries into enrolled students.
Event Participation:
● Represent the company at education fairs, community events, and other
outreach opportunities.
● Coordinate and participate in information sessions and campus tours.
Data Management:
● Maintain accurate records of interactions with prospective students using CRM
systems.
● Generate reports on recruitment activities and enrollment metrics.
Market Intelligence:
● Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and changes in
educational regulations.
● Provide feedback to enhance marketing strategies and program offerings.
Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree in a related field (education, marketing, communication, etc.).
● Proven experience in sales or education counseling, preferably in the higher education
sector.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
● Ability to understand and articulate the benefits of educational programs.
● Results-driven with a focus on meeting or exceeding sales targets.
● Familiarity with CRM systems and data management.
● Strong organizational and time-management skills.
