Summary:
This individual is primarily focused on designing, implementing, and overseeing training programs and initiatives to enhance the knowledge, skills, and performance of project managers and project teams within an organization. This role involves a combination of training development, program management, and leadership responsibilities
Essential Functions:
- Training Program Design: Developing comprehensive training programs and curricula to address the specific needs and goals of project managers and project teams. This includes identifying training objectives, designing learning materials, and selecting appropriate delivery methods.
- Training Delivery: Conducting training sessions, workshops, and seminars to impart project management skills, methodologies, tools, and techniques. This involves utilizing various training methodologies such as classroom training, virtual training, e-learning modules, and hands-on exercises.
- Training Evaluation: Assessing the effectiveness of training programs through evaluations, feedback mechanisms, and performance metrics. Monitoring and analyzing project management performance to identify skill gaps and areas for improvement.
- Project Management Coaching and Mentoring: Providing individual and group coaching sessions to project managers and project teams, offering guidance, feedback, and support to enhance their project management capabilities and performance.
- Collaboration with Stakeholders: Collaborating with project managers, senior leaders, HR professionals, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure alignment between training initiatives and overall business objectives. Coordinating with project managers to identify specific training needs and challenges within their teams.
- Project Management Training Content Development: Creating and updating training materials, including presentations, manuals, job aids, and e-learning modules specific to project management. Keeping the content relevant, up-to-date, and engaging.
- Continuous Learning and Development: Staying updated with industry best practices, project management methodologies, and emerging trends in project management. Attending conferences, workshops, and professional development programs to enhance personal knowledge and skills.
Education Requirements:
·Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related field required.
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years’ of hands on demonstrated experience in Training function in delivering and designing high performance Project Management Training programs.
- Experience of delivering Training services to Internal employees across America and Europe.
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
