Birla Open Minds is seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to serve as our General Manager – Academic. The ideal candidate will have 7-12 years of experience in the education sector. The individual should also be up to date on new technology implementation in academics and have publication knowledge. The GM Academic will be responsible for streamlining complete academics deliverables, ensuring curriculum timelines are met for printing in the correct manner, and have knowledge of ISBN. The GM Academic will play a key role in developing and executing the academic strategy of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Streamline the complete academics deliverables.
• Ensure curriculum timelines are met for printing in the correct manner and have knowledge of ISBN.
• Develop and execute the academic strategy of the organization.
• Stay up to date on new technology implementation in academics.
• Maintain a strong understanding of academic trends and best practices.
• Work with other senior leaders to ensure the academic team is aligned with the overall organizational goals and objectives.
• Manage the academic team and provide coaching and support as needed.
• Collaborate with external partners to develop and deliver academic programs.
• Ensure compliance with academic regulations and standards.

Qualifications:

• 10 to 14 years of experience in the education sector, including curriculum development, Validation, Curriculum Dispatches.
• Up-to-date knowledge of new technology implementation in academics and publication knowledge.
• Strong project management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other senior leaders and external partners.
• Familiarity with academic regulations and standards.
• Strong leadership and coaching skills.
• B.Ed.,M.Ed, P.H.D.
• Open to travel across India as and when required.
