Biology Teacher – Secondary & Sr. Secondary (CBSE)
👩 🏫 Role / Job Profile:
- Teach Biology/Science to students of Classes IX–X (Secondary) and XI–XII (Senior Secondary) as per the Central Board of Secondary Education curriculum.
- Prepare annual lesson plans, unit plans, worksheets, assignments, and practical schedules.
- Conduct theory and laboratory sessions with emphasis on experiments, observation, and scientific inquiry.
- Guide students for CBSE Board examinations, internal assessments, projects, practical files, and viva.
- Create engaging classroom experiences through models, diagrams, case studies, and activity-based learning.
- Monitor student progress and provide academic support/remedial teaching.
- Maintain laboratory equipment, records, safety standards, and inventory.
- Participate in PTMs, school events, examinations, and co-curricular/science exhibition activities.
- Integrate technology and digital tools into teaching-learning.
- Promote scientific temperament, environmental awareness, and research-based thinking.
✅ Pre-requisites / Eligibility:
For Secondary (IX–X):
- Graduate in Biology / Zoology / Botany / Life Sciences.
- B.Ed. with Science/Biology methodology.
- Prior teaching experience in CBSE school preferred.
- Strong command over NCERT & CBSE assessment pattern.
For Senior Secondary (XI–XII):
- Postgraduate (M.Sc.) in Biology / Botany / Zoology / Life Sciences / relevant subject.
- B.Ed. mandatory (as per school/CBSE norms).
- Experience teaching CBSE Board classes XI–XII preferred.
- Good understanding of practical work, record books, and board evaluation patterns.
