The Vice-Chancellor, being the academic as well as administrative head, is expected to be:
- An outstanding academic record with a Ph.D. and relevant years of experience in a university system or in an equivalent position in a reputed applied research and/or academic administrative organization.
- Visionary with proven leadership qualities, administrative capabilities as well as teaching and research credentials.
- Having an outstanding academic record with PH. D with relevant years of experience as per the norms of the UGC/ professor in a university system or in an equivalent position in a reputed applied research and /or academic administrative organization.
- Good at establishing strategic relationships and collaborations with the industry. • Possess the highest level of competence, integrity, morals, and institution-building capacity.
Candidates with experience in a leadership role in Academics/Industry will be preferred.
The procedure of appointment:
- An appointment will be made from a panel of names recommended by the selection committee.
- Candidates below 60 years of age will be preferred. Responsibilities of Pro Vice Chancellor.
- The Vice-Chancellor would have a Management Role following upon various areas of the University such as
-Teaching and learning
– Research and student affairs
-Resource development
-Marketing Development
-Network with Industry
-Introduction and development of new courses •
The Vice-Chancellor shall support the Chancellor/Chairman
-in respect of such matters as may be specified by the Chancellor/Chairman from time to time
- VC Shall place before the Academic Council a report of the work of the university periodically as provided under the statute.
•VC shall hold the responsibility to ensure the university’s journey to academic excellence by actively implementing systems and processes and supporting NAAC, ICAR, and other accreditations.
- VC shall ensure that directives issued from Chancellor /Chairman/State Government if any/Statutes, Ordinances, and Regulations are strictly observed and implemented.

Salary: ₹200,000.00 – ₹300,000.00 per month
