Position: IGCSE TRAINED English Teacher (Middle/High School) for a residential school in Karjat
Qualifications Required: Graduate in English
Experience Required: 8 years’ work experience in teaching in an international school, with the CIE curriculum OR International teaching experience is welcome.
Other skills required: Well versed with Microsoft and Google applications, and familiarity with online learning/communication platform such as MS Teams. Impeccable English communications skills are an important requirement.
Job Responsibility:
· Teaching English to students of middle and high school at an international residential school.
· Curriculum planning and execution including the Annual Curriculum program.
· Lesson planning and developing learning resources.
· Plan classroom/school events (subject specific and general), manage and participate in them.
· Adapting lesson plan/curriculum for remedial instruction.
· Evaluating academic and social growth/performance of students.
· Managing discipline and maintaining appropriate student behaviour.
· Employing a variety of methodologies to make teaching-learning process interesting and effective.
· Attending staff and PTA Meetings communicating with parents and giving feedback to parents.
· Setting, reviewing, grading and evaluating students’ work.
· Supervisory duties.
· Observation and documentation of students’ performance, behaviour.
· Documentation in terms of performance reports, resources, plans, etc.
· SHOULD BE WILLING TO WORK IN A RESIDENTIAL SCHOOL AND RELOCATE TO KARJAT.
Salary Range: 60,000/- to 90,000/- per month PLUS FREE accommodation, meals and utilities.
Name of organisation: Residential School at Karjat with equal focus on sports and academics, following American curriculum and affiliation with international sports clubs.
