What you will be doing:

The role of Senior Sales Operations Specialist is to support the Veritas Global business by providing dedicated support to one or more of the Sales Regions.

Roles and Responsibilities may include some or all of the following:

• Be a trusted advisor to sales and operations teams.
• Provide frontline operations support to Sales Representatives and Channel Partners, support functions and also clients and customers including the following aspects in a Global Account and Channel Sales Set up:
  • Own and drive CRM to resolution
  • Quote requests and validation
  • Contract validations
  • Pricing approvals
  • Financial Requests, Install Base Reports
  • IT tickets
  • PO queries
  • Vendor Forms

• Work in Americas Time Zone, shifts could change based on business need, and needs to flexible as multiple times Zones are involved EST/PST
• Work across multiple sales districts and territories addressing queries in operations mailbox.
• Collaborate with Pricing, Deal Desk, Order Management and other key stakeholders for smooth order booking.
• Ensure effective CRM hygiene is undertaken by sales teams.
• Help District Sales persons in managing teaming agreements and Sales credits as required.
• Co-ordinate with Veritas Cx Care teams for End User / Customer enablement.
• Handle accurate Territory Management in CRM so forecasts and Sales payouts are accurate.
• Work with Cross Functional Teams to gather information required for RFP Requests.
• Participate in Customer Master Data Clean up.
• Manage requests from Sales and Sales Ops Leaders that supports the business to reach planned growth targets.
• Participate other sales operations related tasks as assigned as part of BAU or special projects.
• Work with Cross Functional Teams to gather information required for RFP Requests.
• Be a part of the culture of continuous improvement and success, offer improvement suggestions.

What skills, experience and education you need as a team member to succeed:

• 7Plus years of relevant and or Sales Ops experience
• Excellent communication skills in both oral and written forms
• Strong Interpersonal and relationship building skills
• Attention to Detail, High degree of accuracy
• A curious mind that grows with critical thinking and problem solving
• Advanced Microsoft Excel (v-lookup, pivot tables, data analysis with >10k rows)
• Ability to build macros in excel is an advantage.
• Strong Microsoft PowerPoint, with the ability to build effective decks.
• Oracle CRM skills to an intermediate level and extensive CRM experience
• Experience working within a virtual team that spans multiple time zones
• Self-starter and a proactive can-do innovative demeanor.
• Ability to prioritize workload
• Results oriented with the ability to handle conflicting priorities effectively
• Ability to adopt frequent process changes
• Extensive experience working in a combination of Operations and Support roles in the technology sector
• Experience working in or with technology multi-national corporations
