Basicfirst is looking for a Regional Sales Head with a deep passion for re-inventing K-12 after School Tutoring, Test Prep education and a strong operational “can do” attitude

Job Description: – Build and grow Basicfirst’s business (live teaching classes in Maths, English, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Computer Science and Geography to school students from grade 6-12) in the region – Lead the regional Sales and operation team to grow and manage the P&L of the entire region – Build a strong Sales Manpower supply engine in collaboration with Supply Heads – Build a sales engine using growth hacking driving multiple growth experiments across the region – Own weekly/monthly revenue targets (New sales and renewals) – Explore new and cost-effective channels for student acquisition working with growth/ product/ tech team in India – Work closely on a daily basis with Sales Head for achieving Topline targets Key Metrics: – Net Booking Value (ARPU, No of paid students (new and renewals), refunds) – Student Acquisition Cost – Student NPS Skill Required: – Multi-Dimensional, “Growth Hacker” with funnel optimization experience; Strong sense of ownership and relentless in pursuit of growth – Strong analytics and operations leadership skills – Performance and results-oriented, self-starter, structured thinker and problem solver – Experience of managing systems and processes driven growth – Entrepreneurial mindset with hands on experience of building a new business – Good understanding of regional market and sharp insights in consumer psyche – 10+ years of P&L management experience – Ability and experience of managing a team of super stars Min

Requirements 1) BTech/MBA degree from top IITs or Ivy league MBA institute 2) High tolerance for ambiguity and complexity, while being efficient with limited resources 3) Level of attention to detail that is second to none 4) Excellent oral and written communication skills 5) Sense of humbleness with no job being too big or too small to undertake 6) Proactive and solution-oriented mindset; Problem solver and self-starter (critical thinking is key) 7) Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple objectives simultaneously 8) Comfortable working in time-sensitive and rapidly evolving situations Show more Show less
