Role and Responsibilities: Education Counsellor

As an Education Counsellor at BAOIAM Innovations Private Limited, you will be responsible for:

• Engaging with students and counselling them on education opportunities.
• Assisting students in identifying the right colleges, universities, and courses and help them plan their academic and professional prospects.
• Managing the admission process for the students applying to various programs.
• Providing accurate and verified information regarding universities, colleges, courses, and programs.
• Maintaining a database of the students counselled with relevant information on the number and status of applications made.
• Taking the lead to conduct research and be updated on topics pertinent to the sector to enhance the team’s knowledge base.
• Being available for students on a daily basis to ensure their concerns are addressed and follow up with universities and internal teams to ensure their application process runs smoothly.

Candidate Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Counselling, Psychology, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Experience in the education sector is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
• Good working knowledge in MS Word, MS Excel, and Internet.
