There is an urgent opening for the position of Female Consultant Psychologist at Aakash Institute (Minto Park Branch).

Desired candidate profile:

• Young and dynamic post graduates in Clinical or Counselling or Applied Psychology with experience in the same domain
• Must be open to work on weekends (Saturday and Sunday) , Fixed Wednesday will be week off day.
• Excellent communication in English, Hindi and Bengali is mandatory.

Experience: 2 – 5 years of experience in the same industry

Salary: Not a bar for the right candidate

KRAs:

• Conducting Individual Counselling sessions post evaluation of students needs and accommodating them accordingly. Needs may range from emotional, social, academic or behavioural.
• Psychotherapy for individuals to foster their positive mental health and personal growth.
• Studying factors that affect student behaviour.
• Developing treatment plans.
• Sensitive listening and questioning skills
• Administering paper pencil and projective tests for assessment of clinical issues.
• Referring for psychopharmacology depending on need.
• Parental management and Counselling.
• Providing support in the form of Counselling to other staff members and faculty.
• Conducting Psychological workshops for enhancing abilities on varied issues.
• Writing daily reports.
• Maintaining case records of each and every student.
• Ensuring confidentiality of information and case records.
• Meeting, advising and liaising with other professionals for developing POA.
• Ability to cope with emotionally demanding situations.
• Family therapy.
