Role Description The Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychology at Amity University Jharkhand will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses in clinical and applied psychology, delivering engaging lectures, supervising practicals, and guiding student projects and dissertations. The role includes designing and updating course content, contributing to curriculum development in line with current clinical and research advancements, and maintaining high academic standards in assessment and evaluation. The faculty member will conduct independent and collaborative research, publish in reputable journals, and participate in academic activities such as seminars, workshops, and conferences. Additional responsibilities include mentoring students, contributing to departmental initiatives, engaging in outreach or clinical training activities where applicable, and supporting accreditation and quality assurance processes. This is a full-time, on-site role based at the Amity University Jharkhand campus in Ranchi.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Psychology, with specialized knowledge in Clinical Psychology and related subfields relevant to teaching and supervision.
• Demonstrated experience or training in Teaching and University Teaching, with the ability to plan and deliver clear, engaging, and inclusive classroom instruction.
• Expertise in Curriculum Development, including designing syllabi, learning outcomes, assessment methods, and integrating current clinical and research trends.
• Proven Research skills, including experience in quantitative and/or qualitative methods, publishing in peer-reviewed journals, and guiding student research projects.
• MPhil with RCI Registration (CRR Number).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary academic environment.
• Experience with clinical training, supervision, or work in mental health settings, and familiarity with ethical and regulatory standards in psychology practice is an advantage.
