Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Remote Travel Counselor with expertise in the Caucasus Region to join our International Travel Team. As a Remote Travel Counselor, you will be responsible for promoting and selling travel packages to the captivating Caucasus Region. This position offers the flexibility of working remotely from your own country while catering to clients interested in exploring the beauty, culture and history of the Caucasus.

Responsibilities:

• Develop an in-depth understanding of the Caucasus region, including its destinations, attractions, accommodations and travel logistics.
• Create customized travel itineraries for clients based on their preferences, budget and travel requirements or or to promote/sell Ready-Made Tour Packages prepared by Assistance Tour.
• Provide exceptional customer service by promptly responding to client inquiries via email, phone or online chat.
• Offer expert advice on the best time to visit, must-see attractions, local customs and travel regulations within the Caucasus region.
• Collaborate with local tour operators, travel agencies, corporate companies or individual travellers/groups to ensure smooth travel experiences for clients. It can also be promoted or organized on social media channels by the counselor.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, travel advisories, and new developments in the Caucasus region to offer the most relevant and accurate information to clients.
• Meet or exceed sales targets by actively promoting and selling travel packages to the Caucasus region.
• Provide post-travel support, including addressing client feedback, resolving issues, and fostering client loyalty.

Requirements:

• Proven work experience as a Travel Counselor or in a similar role, specializing in the Caucasus region.
• Knowledge about major cities, landmarks, culture and local customs of the Caucasus region.
• Strong sales and negotiation skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with clients and provide exceptional customer service.
• Self-motivated and disciplined, capable of working independently while maintaining high productivity and professionalism.
• Proficient in using technology and travel-related software applications.
• Fluency in English is required; knowledge of additional languages, particularly Russian or Turkish, is a plus.
