Communications Coordinator
Location: Delhi, ASPIRE HQ
Reports to: Executive Director/ Communications Officer

ASPIRE – A Society for Promotion of Inclusive and Relevant Education, seeks a Learning Coordinator for its Delhi office. Founded in , ASPIRE is a registered NGO working to ensure quality education for all children within the Right to Education framework. We work to strengthen the public-school education system through improved school governance, introduction of new pedagogic practices and empowering teachers and local communities. Currently we are able to positively impact children, local communities and schools in Orissa, Jharkhand, West Bengal and Delhi.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaboratively develop and implement communication plan targeted to different audiences
  • Co-lead efforts for re-design, create layout, graphics, animation, video etc. for organisation website
  • Write engaging and relevant material for a variety of purposes including the website, newsletter, blog, creative digital content, and audience-driven social media output
  • Gather and produce creative content using digital camera, audio gathering tools, and editing suites
  • Develop templates and guides for different elements of the communications strategy. Ensure that all communications and marketing material aligns with brand standards
  • Identify and collaborate to produce digital content and communications materials when necessary
  • Support in improving all communication flows, within and outside of our organisation.
  • Manage social media communications
  • Any other task as may be assigned by the line manager

    • Requirements/ Qualifications:

  • Bachelor/ Master’s degree from a reputed institute in Mass Communication or other equivalent degree
  • Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS
  • Experience in web design and content production
  • Must possess exceptional English writing skills and be able to compose engaging and accurate content
  • Strong communication and ability to work independently and with a team
  • Knowledge of Adobe Photo shop, InDesign, and Illustrator or similar applications
  • Ability to think strategically and identify ways to improve communication efforts
  • Flexible, self-motivated and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and work in teams
  • Proficiency in Odia language is an added bonus

    • Remuneration: Depends on prior experiences and last drawn salary.
