Key Responsibilities:
Teaching and Curriculum Development:
Develop and deliver undergraduate and graduate courses in IT.
Utilize innovative teaching methods and technologies to enhance student learning experiences.
Design and update course materials to reflect current trends and research in IT.
Mentor and advise students on academic and career matters.
Maintain high standards of teaching and contribute to the continuous improvement of the curriculum.
Research and Scholarly Activities:
Conduct high-quality research in IT and publish findings in reputable journals and conferences.
Seek and secure research funding from external sources.
Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary research projects.
Present research findings at academic conferences and contribute to advancing the fields knowledge base.
Assessments and Progress Monitoring:
Administer assessments to evaluate students’ understanding and progress.
Provide one-on-one guidance and support to students requiring additional assistance.
Ensure timely feedback and foster a supportive learning environment.
Qualifications:
Educational Requirements:
Masters Degree in Information Technology or a closely related field.
UGC NET qualification or a PhD in IT will be an addon.
Experience and Skills:
Proven experience in teaching at the undergraduate and/or graduate level.
Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to conduct research and publish in reputable journals.
Experience in seeking research funding and collaborating on interdisciplinary projects is advantageous.
Familiarity with current trends and technologies in IT and education.
