The Opportunity

ARTIUM is looking for a hands-on UX/Product Designer who is responsible for building and deploying technology solutions at scale also, architect solutions at the web level, understanding business problems, and suggesting technology solutions.

What You’ll Do

• Work closely with the Head of Product to define a strong design language for a global audience

• Engage with cross-functional teams through functional requirements gathering, wireframing, UI

• Design, implementation, user testing, and validation through data collection.

• Set up and lead user forms, map and design user groups and states, research, workshops,

• Strategy and vision development, concept design, rapid prototyping, and usability testing.

• Design end-to-end product experiences for web as well as mobile applications.

• Communicate the user experience at various stages of the design process with wireframes, flow diagrams, storyboards, mockups, and/or high-fidelity prototypes.

• Compose and grow new product concepts alongside product and engineering team members in order to create beneficial, robust, and high-performing interactions.

• Integrate user feedback and business requirements into ongoing product experience updates.

• Participate in Agile development process planning, strategy, and tactics for UX projects for delivery on time to have a high impact-to-effort ratio.

• Promote and use best design practices and qualitative and quantitative assessment methodologies to produce consistent and effective experiences.

• Make informed and critical decisions in shaping our design and product prioritization.

What You Need To Have

• 6-10 years of experience in the design and development of highly-scalable applications development in product-based companies or start-ups.

• 4+ years of experience with user interfaces, interaction paradigms, and visual design patterns as well as experience with a wide variety of software engineering tools and practices.

• Strong understanding of accessibility best practices for design and software development.

• Understanding of software engineering best practices, including agile development, code reviews, design documentation, debugging, and troubleshooting.

• Experience working in startups or on highly ambitious projects building from scratch.

• Great communication skills – Clearly articulate ideas and collaborate with designers, product managers, engineers, and researchers to drive progress.
