JOB DESCRIPTION

• Plan, organize, and teach Economics and English as part humanities coursework that will facilitate Critical thinking and analytical abilities
• Collaborate with other faculty and staff within the department to develop, evaluate, revise and enhance curriculum and ensure mastery of the material.
• Support and promote the mission of the Humanities Department, which centers on excellence in teaching and learning through quality instruction, curriculum enhancement, service, and faculty professional development.
• Collaborate with the Head of the department, department faculty, and staff, as well as other college officials to assist with implementing college policies, objectives, and strategic vision.
• Participate in departmental and faculty meetings, committee work, as well as service to the college as requested.
• Provide service excellence through courteous, informed, accessible, and professional engagement.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS

Qualifications:
A Masters Degree or higher in Economics and English

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 

• Familiarity with current economic trends. global economic standing, and evolution of Economics.
• Knowledge of NEP and work towards integrating language curriculum towards it
• Recognise multiple ways in which students learn
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment. Possess an integrated outlook on learning
• Communication – communicate professionally and empathetically
