Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Calisthenics Instructor to join our fitness center or training facility. As a Calisthenics Instructor, you will be responsible for designing and delivering effective Calisthenics workouts, providing guidance and support to participants, and promoting a positive and inclusive training environment. Your expertise in bodyweight exercises, strength training, and functional movement patterns will be essential in helping individuals achieve their fitness goals.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement well-structured calisthenics workout programs suitable for various fitness levels and goals.
- Instruct and demonstrate proper form, technique, and progression for various calisthenics exercises, including push-ups, pull-ups, squats, lunges, planks, and more.
- Provide individualized guidance and modifications to accommodate participants with different fitness levels, abilities, and limitations.
- Motivate and encourage participants to achieve their fitness goals by providing ongoing support, feedback, and accountability.
- Ensure a safe training environment by enforcing proper equipment usage and emphasizing injury prevention techniques.
- Please keep up-to-date with the latest trends, research, and advancements in calisthenics training to help you learn more about it.
- Conduct group classes, workshops, and personal training sessions as scheduled, maintaining professionalism and punctuality.
- Build rapport with participants, establish positive relationships, and create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere.
- I would like to help with maintaining and organizing equipment, ensuring its cleanliness and functionality.
- Promote and market calisthenics training programs and events to attract new participants and retain existing ones.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience and expertise in calisthenics training, bodyweight exercises, and functional fitness.
- Certification in personal training, fitness instruction, or a related field is highly desirable.
- In-depth knowledge of human anatomy, exercise physiology, and biomechanics related to calisthenics movements.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively instruct and motivate participants.
- Ability to modify exercises and programs based on individual needs, goals, and limitations.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to plan and execute well-structured workouts.
- CPR/AED certification or willingness to obtain it.
- Enthusiasm for fitness and a passion for helping individuals achieve their health and wellness goals.
- Ability to adapt to different teaching styles and cater to diverse groups of participants.
