Apollo Tele Health Services Hiring for Social Health Education educator Job at India Full Time

Job purpose

To conduct SHE sessions and generate awareness in and around identified PHCs in Mayiladuthurai and GH in Chengalpattu districts of Tamil Nadu.

Duties and responsibilities

1. Take the pre assessment of the identified people.

2. To organize health awareness sessions and awareness on non-communicable diseases.

3. Identification of potential peer leaders in the communities for formation of groups to ensure reaching maximum people.

4. Ensure the teams are continuously followed up for completing the program tenure.

5. Need to connect with local leaders & Village self-help groups for their support for awareness.

6. Conducting assessments and surveys to determine health education needs

7. Regular follow up with patients in the communities.

8. Identify strategic partnerships with organizations and stakeholders that promote health education.

9. Using Health education modules to organize the sessions.

10. Taking post assessment on completion of the SHE Program.

11. Document activities, record information and maintain databases.

12. Share regular reports with respective project coordinator.

Qualifications / Certifications

· Graduation in any stream.

· Minimum 2 years’ work experience in similar role preferable

• Familiarity with basics of MS Office (mandatory)
• Experienced in field visits
• Excellent Communication skills (written & verbal)

Working conditions

• Should be open to travel for executing the job responsibilities.

Job location: Mayiladuthurai and Chengalpattu district, Tamil Nadu

Timings: 8 hours

Workdays: 6 days a week

Required Languages:

Able to Speak, Read and Write in English and Tamil (Mandatory).
