We are currently seeking a visionary leader to head our Publication Department. This role is instrumental in overseeing the creation and development of school textbooks, from inception to publication, in collaboration with our promoters and advisors.Job Responsibilities :Lead the Publication department and will be responsible for building a team to effectively publish textbooks and other publications as per requirement.Lead the entire publication process for school textbooks, ensuring the production of high-quality, age-appropriate content.Responsible for setting up systems and processes for the seamless execution of publications from start to finish.Assemble and manage a team of authors, drawing from our pool of in-house teachers and engaging external subject experts when necessary. To assess the quality of authors in conjunction with Advisors.Collaborate closely with the Head Editor to ensure all content is meticulously edited and tailored to the intended age groupUnderstand yearly requirements and strategize budget and timelines to execute the publication process effectivelyMonitor the variance from budgets and ensure that adequate steps are taken to minimize the variations.Responsible for establishing and ensuring all compliances are met as per the norms if any.Responsible for financials which will include revenue, costs and margins.Competencies and Skills Required –Passion for Education -A profound passion for the creation of exceptional educational materials is essential.
