JOB Discription-Vice-Principal-CBSE Board-KG-12th Std-School Size 1500 students
The position will be reporting directly to the Principal. At the discretion of the Principal, the responsibilities of the Vice-Principal to act independently may vary.
Roles and Responsibilities of the Vice-Principal include but are not limited to:
The Vice-Principal will –
1. Assume supervision on behalf of or in the absence of the Principal.
2. Assist the Principal in the administration of the school and provide leadership.
3. Assist in the formulation of policies, Schools plans, goals, and objectives.
4. Work towards achieving the Vision, Mission, Goals, Objective of the School.
5. Discuss the implementation of school policies and programs.
6. Implement the instructions and policies of the Board in respect to curricular, co-curricular, and extra-curricular activities, and take steps to bring about healthy development of the School in all these areas.
7. Raise the proposals for teaching staff recruitment, procurement of furniture, laboratory equipment, and teaching aids, etc. ahead of the commencement of the academic session.
8. Oversee safety arrangements, supply of drinking water and canteen facilities for the pupils and to ensure that the school building and its fixtures and furniture, office equipment, lavatories, play-grounds, school garden, etc., are properly and carefully maintained.
9. Help in the process of admissions in terms of preparation of school timetable, allocation of duties to the teachers, provision of necessary facilities to the teachers in the discharge of their duties, and conduct of examinations and tests in accordance with the school policy.
10. Make necessary arrangements for organising special instruction for the SEN/LD students according to their needs, organize counselling sessions for students having learning difficulties, emotional issues, and coping issues.
11. Plan and organise periodically educational excursions/tours/visits for providing outdoor learning experiences to students.
12. Ensure effective syllabus planning and implementation.
13. Assist the Principal in assigning specific duties to teachers.
14. Allot subjects and classes to teachers in consultation with the Principal.
15. Arrange for proxy classes in the absence of a teacher.
16. Orient new staff members and familiarize them with school policies and systems.
17. Ensure teachers are punctual to the classes.
18. Orient the teachers from time to time on the upcoming activities, events, and competitions.
19. Assist in the supervision of student activities (activities, quizzes, and competitions)
20. Assume the responsibility of student schedules at the direction of the Principal.
21. Plan the school calendar, exam schedule for the whole academic session & follow up on printing of students’ diary.
22. Co-ordinate various curricular and co-curricular activities through the House System. Take full charge of the shortlisting and selection process of all members of the Student Council.
23. Oversee smooth conduct of Exams from planning to implementation within the prescribed timelines. Ensure Sending the progress reports of the students to their parents/guardians as per the school policy.
24. Arrange enrichment (remedial) classes for weak students and supervise them so that they are conducted properly and effectively.
25. Ensure answer sheets are corrected and given in time.
26. Conduct demo class observations and write the class observation reports of the teachers periodically.
27. Check the teachers’ Lesson Plan, notebook correction regularly.
28. Check all relevant registers and logbooks.
29. Assist the Principal in reviewing new textbooks.
30. Assist the Principal in identifying areas related to the functioning of the school which can be digitalised.
31. Prepare and submit reports, as requested by the Principal.
32. Portray an effective role model for staff, students, parents/guardians, community members.
33. Help in the formation of parent-teacher associations to establish contacts with and secure the co-operation of parents/ guardians in the programmes /policies implemented by the school from time to time.

35. Assume responsibility for discipline in the School.
36. Assist the Principal in interpreting school programs to the community.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹1,800,000.00 – ₹2,200,000.00 per year
