The Center for Computational Engineering & Networking (CEN) , Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore campus, is inviting applications from qualified candidates for the post of full-time Ph.D. position in AI for Healthcare Data Analytics with a research assistance fellowship.

One of the key areas in which AI has made its mark is healthcare data analytics. AI is used for various applications such as prognosis, diagnosis and management of various diseases in the healthcare sector. AI assisted solutions help the physicians in executing their work. In this project, you will be employing various machine learning / deep learning techniques to analyse different types of biomedical data such as ECG, EEG, X-ray images, MRI images so on and so forth. The main purpose of such an analysis is to develop a clinical support system to identify and manage different diseases.

Eligibility

The candidate should possess a master’s degree in any branch of engineering / Physics / Mathematics / Data Science. Programming skills will be an added advantage.

Fellowship

You will be provided with a fellowship of 25,000 per month. Fellowship will be renewed annually based on your performance.

Tentative Duration of Full-time Ph.D.

Typically a full-time candidate can complete the Ph.D. in 3 years.
