The Center for Computational Engineering & Networking , Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore campus, is inviting applications from qualified candidates for the post of full-time Ph.D. position in AI for Finance with a research assistance fellowship.

AI is rapidly intruding into the fintech space for providing solutions to existing challenges. Various financial institutions rely upon AI techniques to classify and identify potential customers. AI techniques are also employed to identify prospective investment options by means of developing recommendation systems. In this project, you will be applying different AI/ML techniques for analysing financial data such as stock prices, stock indices, etc.

Eligibility

The candidate should possess a master’s degree in any branch of Engineering / Physics / Mathematics / Data Science/ Business Administration (MBA) / Commerce (MCom). Programming skills will be an added advantage.

Fellowship

You will be provided with a fellowship of 25,000 per month. Fellowship will be renewed annually based on your performance.

Tentative Duration of Full-time Ph.D.

Typically a full-time candidate can complete the Ph.D. in 3 years.
